Miranda 10 Speech night - Hartoonian Award,
15th April
We had 12 speakers for the very entertaining contest.
Winner, Greg Kennedy,
Second, Karrieanne Reinhard
Third, Stephen Penning.
Southern Division Evaluation Contest was won by Greg Kennedy. The International Speech Contest was won by Kevin McGirr from Wests Illawarra Club.
Area 42 Contest was held on Tuesday night 26th February at Menai Toastmasters Club's venue, Club Menai.
Greg Kennedy (Miranda) won the Evaluation Contest and Rick Haynes (Menai) was the runner up.
Mark Kyte (Miranda) won the International Speech Contest and James Baker (H/Burgh) was runner up.
Stephen Penning won the club Table Topic contest and Greg Kennedy won the club Humorous Speech contest.
Greg Kennedy is the 2007 Toastmasters of the Year, and Phil Clisby is the 2007 Most Improved Speaker.
Miranda club meetings are Tuesdays fortnightly.
